Hoping todays announcement doesn’t affect AddWater 1.0.1

September 11, 2013 | By |

Although I’m excited about today’s announcements of iOS 7 and the new iPhones, especially Touch ID and the M7 motion coprocessor, I’m a little concerned because Apple sent out a notice to all developers telling us we can start submitting ‘iOS 7 ready’ apps to the App Store today.

I’m sure Apple would like to get as many ‘iOS 7 ready’ apps in the App Store before iOS 7 launches (heck, I’m working on getting AddWater ‘iOS 7 ready’ right now and hope to be in the store at iOS 7 launch). I just hope, with the influx of apps from developers this week, it doesn’t delay AddWater’s 1.0.1 review* time.

*needless to say, I wouldn’t want to be on the app review team right now. Having to adhere to business standards and requirements from the company, as they get shit on from pretty much everyone else – media, users, and developers – during a regular days, but add the ramp-up of a new OS launch into the mix and you’ve got the recipe for many long days and nights.
